Course description

The Master of Science is awarded following the examination of a thesis reporting original research, which has been carried out under supervision over a candidacy of at least two years.

Areas of study include:

Melbourne (Bundoora) campus: Biochemistry; botany; chemistry; environmental management and ecology; environmental science; genetics; mathematics; microbiology; physics; psychology; statistical science; and zoology.

Bendigo campus: Geoconservation assessment; geomorphology and environmental management; mountain and coastal geomorphology of Victoria; geoconservation assessment of proposed development sites (coalmine extension, wind farms); approximation theory/numerical analysis; combinatorics and graph theory; foundations of geometry and space-time; applied statistics; and spatial modelling analysis.
