The Behavioral Science Department at Triton College is a multidisciplinary department that offers classes in Anthropology, Philosophy, Psychology and Sociology. Each discipline offers an A.A. program and allows students to complete the lower division transfer requirements for a major at a four-year institution.
The department offices, mailboxes and the secretarial staff are located on the first floor of the Science Building, Rooms D-100 through D-116. For general information about the department, call the departmental secretary Linda Mick at (708) 456-0300 ext. 3833.

Study of Behavioral Sciences at UHCL follows an interdisciplinary approach, encompassing the fields of anthropology, psychology, and sociology. Students seeking a Behavioral Science degree take courses in each of these disciplines and also select a specific concentration in the graduate program. We offer the Bachelor of Sciences and the Master of Arts in Behavioral Sciences.
Any Behavioral Science major can earn a concentration in Woman Studies by taking any three courses under the Women's Studies rubric. Women's Studies courses offer students a chance to explore how familiar notions of race, class and gender work together to reproduce privilage and poverty in
Social & Behavioral Sciences
The Social and Behavioral Sciences Concentration (SBS) strives to understand human lives, human behavior, and institutions (formal and informal) in their social contexts. The concentration embraces an interdisciplinary approach to examining cultural diversity, social problems, and human behavior, incorporating perspectives from sociology, economics, psychology, anthropology, linguistics, and political science. These courses provide students with tools to examine and address global issues and concerns.
Students who select the social and behavioral sciences concentration take five courses in the concentration. They also are strongly encouraged to use Learning Clusters to deepen their knowledge in social and behavioral sciences. Students may
